Hello folks,
I hope everyone had plenty of turkey and fixins. I had to spend time cleaning around the house for family coming over. Then there was Thanksgiving, and cleaning up after. But I’ve been writing since.
I was able to finish the first pass of chapter 21 and am almost a quarter of the way through 22. I added two new sections that I felt were needed, and a few of the sections had a synopsis like ‘something with the [so-and-so] plot.’ so it took a bit to decide what that something was and to then write it out. There was also a pretty silly continuity hole where a character learns of something twice in the same day, morning and then evening, and is surprised both times. It came about because I thought of a better way (and place) to have that happen (the earlier time) and didn’t recall it was also done later. At any rate, I fixed that up. I also came to the realization last night as I was falling asleep (I often have random thoughts about the book I’m working on popping into my head at that time, almost like my subconscious saying ‘hey, is this right?’) that there is a minor logic problem that I will have to address. At any rate, the holiday and some things that came up took some time away, but I am back to it.
