Hello everyone,
As I thought, it is taking more time to get this chapter done. There are some . . . things happening that I wanted to be familiar but not typical. Days went by as I thought and thought of a way to do what I wanted that wasn’t the ‘usual,’ aka boring due to having seen it a million times. I think I’ve come up with a way to make what I wanted a little different. Now it’s a matter of getting it down, and as far as that goes, I’m about 80 percent done with the chapter. Along with looking for an interesting angle, I also had to add a couple of sections to the chapter, sections driven by slight divergences from the original plot lines outlined so long ago. But that’s a normal thing for me. People and events often take on a life of their own as I’m turning the outline into the story, and so the end of a book is, more often than not, a bit different from what I had originally envisioned. I think there’s only one chapter left after this one, and also the epilog, so I’ve almost completed this phase of writing for the book.
